Activities Are the Answer!
Activities are the heart and soul of any retirement community. On the surface, they keep us active and in good health. They also help stem the tide of aging a bit and maintain a high quality of life.
However, there’s another major purpose of activities. They help you meet other older adults who share your interests and passions!

Take, for example, the pickleball group I joined. We meet each week to take lessons and play a few games. After a tournament, we even went out for lunch together. During the meal, we got to know each other even better. I learned that we have even more in common than our shared love of pickleball!
As you can see, activities introduce you to new friends. I’ve seen this exact same pattern play out: people meeting other people who share their passions and making lifelong friends in the process.
Indeed, activities are the answer to a happy and satisfying retirement!
